PRINCIPAL HEALTH PSYCHOLOGIST

Dr Louise Roper

Dr Roper has a degree in Psychology, a MSc Health Psychology Stage 1, an BPS approved doctoral level qualification in Health Psychology, alongside a PhD in resilience and end of life experiences.

Louise has worked in academia and after 14 years moved to the NHS to work clinically. She currently works therapeutically on a one-to-one basis with a range of patients, including people who have Long Covid, physical illness, anxiety, depression and trauma. She previously designed and developed therapy groups for people with Long Covid symptoms, and led a team of psychologists supporting people who work in social care.

Dr Roper works in the NHS on a part-time basis but does have limited spaces for private therapy on Monday evenings & Wednesday and Thursday during the day time.

DIETITIAN

Jen Landrum

Jen is a qualified HCPC Registered Advanced Dietitian with over 7 years clinical experience working within the NHS alongside her private practice.  Having gained a first-class honours degree from the University of Chester, she went onto practice as a Community Dietitian and then progressed to specialising in mental health and Eating Disorders. Her areas of expertise include: Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, ARFID and disordered eating.  She works with both adults and children/young people.

EMDR PRACTITIONER & CBT THERAPIST

Kate Williamson

Kate is a BABCP accredited CBT therapist and has over 14 years experience of working in the NHS in primary care mental health services. Kate works with people who are struggling with depression, generalised anxiety disorder, and worry, OCD, PTSD and social anxiety amongst other anxiety disorders.

Kate is also a qualified EMDR practitioner. EMDR can be effective in treating mood disturbances relating to distressing memories or experiences such as PTSD or depression.
